What is the Network/What is the Content?

BCTV is an in-center video TV network developed for BPAA Member Bowling Centers

  • Programming Content will be a mix of Sports highlights, breaking news, weather, entertainment highlights, bowling event highlights, and tips
  • Fun content designed to spur consumer interaction
    • Social media content from influencers
    • Photo sharing and other opportunities to interact with the screens
    • QR code driven content
  • L-Bar to be filled with various sports news and information
    • Live sports scores
    • Betting odds
    • Game matchups
    • Time/temperature
    • News headlines
  • Content will air in 2–3-hour loops and designed to consider the average dwell time of your customers
  • The content is designed to be flexible and evolve over time as we gain feedback from consumers, proprietors, and advertisers.

What are the Benefits to Centers in the BCTV Network?

  • You have no cost to have the network installed
  • Centers will get a range of financial and other benefits from participation
    • You get a revenue share on the national advertising BCTV Sells
    • You can sell local advertising and keep 100% of the revenues
    • You can use the network to promote Food & Beverage sales plus other promotional offers in your center to drive higher in-center sales

What Centers Qualify for BCTV?

  • We have funding to accommodate up to 1,000 centers
  • Centers will be selected based on criteria that includes markets size, Customer traffic etc..

What Does Installation Look Like/When Does it Take Place?

  • A site inspection shall take place from our installation team
    • Inspect various structural items/plans, confirm broadband capabilities, and identify power source locations
    • A footprint of the ideal screen locations shall be mapped out (for approval by the proprietor)
    • Once proprietor approval is given on the TV screen footprint, then an installation date will be scheduled
  • Installation
    • An installation date will be mutually agreed upon by you and BCTV Installation may take 2-3 days
    • Your staff will need to be notified that installation is taking place to accommodate the installation team
    • Upon conclusion of installation, you will sign a final document that installation has be satisfactorily accomplished

What Do Centers Need to Do Day-to-Day?

  • Centers will need to make sure that the BCTV screens are
    • On during all hours of operation
    • Report any service issues that can’t be easily fixed at the center level

Service Issues/Process

  • BCTV will provide service support to maintain and service the network
  • BCTV will have a process in place to escalate service issues

Timeline from Now Until Launch

Once BCTV reaches its target goal of participating centers, we will begin the installation process on a market-by-market basis We expect full deployment/installation of 1,000 centers to take place over the next 12-15 months

What type of advertisers will be on BCTV?

The advertisers on BCTV will be advertisers consistent with those you see across major television networks like ESPN. These will generally be blue-chip, family friendly high-quality brands consistent with who other major media companies sell advertising to.
